Irish landscape dusted with snow

Snow covered conifers and blue skies on a winter day in Ireland.

It has been eons since my last post but I am back with a vengeance this time. I've changed the name of the blog and rearranged some stuff around. To start things of I'm sharing some winter scenes I've captured over the years. Most of these were taken in a ditch on the side of the road, I'll stop my car anywhere for a photograph. Sorry, other road users.

Snowy mountains and big clouds at sunset in Ireland.

Snow is definitely the best part about winter. The shorter days I could do away with, but I guess that comes with the territory.  I only wish that snow would last longer than a day in this part of the world. The white stuff transforms the landscape and makes it feel more tranquil and serene than usual. I hope there's more snow in store for us before winter gets replaced by spring.
